Motivation
The client approached Azati with a request to optimize the performance of the Smith-Waterman algorithm, which is crucial for sequence alignment in bioinformatics. The goal was to significantly reduce the time required to perform sequence searches, especially those involving large datasets, without compromising the accuracy or completeness of the results. By improving the algorithm's efficiency, the client aimed to enhance the speed of their research processes while maintaining the high accuracy that is essential in biotechnology research.
Main Challenges
The company manually collected inspection results in XLS forms and processed them later in the office, which was inefficient and delayed access to performance metrics. Azati proposed a mobile application with offline capabilities to allow real-time data entry and seamless synchronization with the corporate portal.
The Quality Assurance team lacked an automated way to process inspection data and generate reports in real time, which slowed down decision-making and transparency. Azati addressed this by building a web-based corporate portal that automatically processes incoming inspection data and generates up-to-date reports and analytics.
Key Features
- Mobile Application: Real-time geolocation tracking and inspection capabilities with offline functionality.
- Corporate Portal: Real-time data aggregation, reporting, statistics, and flowcharts.
- Supply Ordering Automation: Automated supply ordering with monthly budgets and real-time delivery tracking.
Our Approach
Project Impact
Improved Efficiency: The solution significantly increased the efficiency of the Quality Assurance team's work, enabling faster inspections and reporting.
Time Savings: The offline functionality allowed inspectors to work without internet access, speeding up the inspection process.
Increased Transparency: The real-time data collection and reporting gave management better visibility into employee activities and facility performance.
